Raiffeisen Bank has appointed a new Chairman of the Management Board
• Rainer Schnabl moves to new position at Raiffeisen Bank International AG; Lars Frankemölle will succeed him as CEO of Raiffeisen Bank d.d. Bosna i Hercegovina; strategic continuity and sustainable growth remain key priorities
Lars Frankemölle will succeed Rainer Schnabl as the new Chairman of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank dd Bosna i Hercegovina starting from March 1, 2026. Rainer Schnabl is moving to a new position as a member of the Management Board of Raiffeisen Bank International AG.
"The appointment of Lars Frankemölle represents a continuation of the strategic path that we have established. His extensive expert knowledge and many years of leadership experience make him exceptionally competent to lead Raiffeisen Bank d.d. BiH in the next phase of development. At the same time, we thank Rainer Schnabl for his strong contribution and wish him much success within the Raiffeisen Group," said Peter Jacenko, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Raiffeisen Bank d.d. BiH.
This management change represents a clear continuity of the bank's strategic direction. Lars Frankemölle currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer of Raiffeisen Bank since April 2024. He has over 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including several senior management positions in Austria and the CEE/SEA region.

Lars Frankemölle will be succeeded as the Chief Risk Officer of Raiffeisen Bank dd BiH by Nermina Alić, who joined the bank in 2020 and has since been recognised for her professional excellence and strong contribution to the development of the risk management function.
